Connie Brown, M.Ed., a thirty-four year classroom veteran, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a Masters of Education in Integrated Teaching from Lesley College in Cambridge, MA. She has taught theatre, English, and communications for middle and high school students at all skill levels, and she was a lead facilitator for a gifted center for ten years.
As a Resource Teacher for gifted education in a large school district in Metro Denver, Colorado, Connie focused on programming for secondary gifted students at more than 15 schools. She has been a presenter at the World Council for Gifted Children at the University of New South Wales, Australia, and facilitates sessions regularly at state and national educational venues.
Connie currently enjoys guest teaching and leading workshops to help teachers and parents develop accessible tools and strategies that engage and empower student education, curiosity, and potential.
