by: Jean Peterson, Ph.D.

When Jean Peterson worked as a high school counselor, she held weekly group meetings with some of the gifted students. The groups were a safe place for the students to share their concerns and offer support to one another. The author was moved to write poems about many of these students, and years later, she decided to publish some of them. This book contains 62 poems that provide views into the inner world of gifted teens. Each poem also includes a narrative that offers further insight into the issues that giftedness children frequently face. This is a great book to read or to give school counselors, educators, and parents!
